What this site uses today

• One strictly necessary piece of session storage, cleared when you close the tab, that stops the intro animation replaying on every page.
• One strictly necessary piece of stored data recording your "Accept all" or "Necessary only" choice from the cookie banner, so it does not ask again.
• No analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind are set by this site at present.

None of the above is sent to us or to anyone else; it stays on your device and is never used to identify or track you.

Your choice, and why it matters even though we set little today

On your first visit you are asked to choose "Accept all" or "Necessary only". We store that choice on your device so the banner does not ask again. Right now, both choices do the same thing, because we do not set any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies to switch on or off. The choice exists so that if we later add something non-essential, for example privacy-respecting analytics, it only runs for people who chose "Accept all", and a "Necessary only" choice is honoured automatically rather than asked for again, as UK and EU law (GDPR and PECR, the ePrivacy rules) requires.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back on your next visit.

Payment is the one exception

If you buy the Organisation Toolkit or the AI Ethicist Curriculum, checkout happens on Lemon Squeezy's own hosted payment page, at Lemon Squeezy's domain, not ours. Lemon Squeezy sets its own cookies there to process the payment securely; that is governed by Lemon Squeezy's cookie and privacy policy, not this one, and we do not receive or see them.
